THE ITALIAN THEATER HAS REOPENED TO THE PUBLIC, AMONG LIMITATIONS AND UNCERTAINTIES

The “date x” was Monday April 26th. The first to restart the projections was the Beltrade cinema in Milan with a marathon that began with Nanni Moretti’s Caro diario. The cinema rose to the headlines for the queue of at least 80 people that was formed since 5.30 in the morning.
Uci Cinemas will not open again until mid-May.
The decree regulates the reopening of theaters, cinemas, concert halls in the yellow zone. It is essential that the seats are pre-assigned and a distance of one meter from each other. The maximum permitted capacity is 50% of the official maximum and in any case not exceeding 500 spectators indoors and 1000 outdoors.
In addition to the date of April 26, on the reopening of the rooms it is clear that this will happen in compliance with a series of new rules and protocols to guarantee the resumption of activities in total safety. With the draft of the new decree, the reopening of cinemas and theaters will be allowed as long as the following rules are taken into high consideration:
• Obligation to wear a mask even during the show;
• minimum spacing of one meter between the seats of the spectators;
• no standing places, even during concerts;
• the maximum capacity must not exceed 50%, and in any case not exceed 1,000 people for outdoor shows and 500 for indoor ones.
