A SUPERMARKET OPENS IN THE MILANESE AREA WHERE THOSE WHO ARE “INDIGENT” DO NOT PAY THE SHOPPING PRECISELY IN CERNUSCO SUL NAVIGLIO

The project is called Bottega della Solidarity and aims to be a real response to those who need help not only because of the economic crisis, and who use associations in the form of food.

The requests for help from families during the first lockdown tripled, going from 40 families to 130 families.

With the Bottega Solidale, it was decided to overcome the classic system of “Pack of living” by favoring the free choice of food by destitute families, who will be able to go to the small solidarity supermarket, and through a points card, do the shopping for free, preferring the products they really need.

You can access the supermarket with a card issued by Caritas which will allow you to do your shopping and pay for it in points, assigned on the basis of the composition of the family unit and economic conditions.

This project, in addition to helping families, also wants to encourage the community, from individuals to shops to companies, to subtract food waste as much as possible by recovering food surpluses and sharing their goods with those in difficulty.
